Ms. Exquisite Full-Figured NC 2017
Lakeisha Jordan
Greetings,
I'm Lakeisha Jordan, Ms Exquisite Full Figured North Carolina 2017. My platform is domestic violence. I've been using my platform as an instrument to bring awareness to Domestic Violence and I also work with several local non-profit organizations in the community by volunteering as a first responder to provide counseling to victims by providing a positive image that there are better days to come. I coordinate toiletry drives and I also work with local food shelters to feed the homeless or less fortunate. As a domestic violence survivor, it is very important to encourage other women by sharing my story by speaking at local churches, shelters. I'm also working with several teen groups at the local high school to uplift self esteem in teen girls.
