REQUIRED COMPETITIONS

INTERVIEW
CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:
Fashion Forward: Suits, Business Casual Attire, or Casual Dressy (any color - solid color encouraged)
  • Proper fit & style for body type
  • Appropriate Undergarments (shapewear, waist cincher, girdle and.or corset)
  • Hosiery (pantyhose, stockings, tights etc - especially if wearing a tea length dress)
  • Contestant must take control of the stage
  • Contestant must SMILE the entire scene
  • Contestant must make EYE CONTACT with each judge
  • Hats are okay (as long as your face is visible)
ANY COLOR ATTIRE
NO RHINESTONES, GLITTER, OR SEQUINS ON GARMENTS INCLUDING EARRINGS AND ACCESSORIES


Interview:
The personal interview competition is the Contestants' best opportunity to allow the judges to get to know you personally and intimately. Each Contestant will be interviewed individually and will have to answer questions on a variety of topics. They will have the opportunity to talk about themselves, current events, social issues, and personalities that affect the world today. Judges will be looking for articulate, well-spoken and confident ladies. The personal interview competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.

PAGEANT INTRODUCTIONS

Contestant sash, pageant t-shirt, jeans, heels, flats or tennis shoes
  • Proper fit & style for body type
  • Appropriate Undergarments (shapewear, waist cincher, girdle and.or corset)
  • Hosiery (as needed)
  • Contestant must take control of the stage
  • Contestant must SMILE the entire scene
  • Contestant must make EYE CONTACT with each judge
ANY COLOR SHOES
SPECIFIC COLOR T-SHIRT WILL BE SHARED PRIOR TO PAGEANT

  • Hosiery (pantyhose, stockings, tights etc - especially if wearing a tea length dress)
  • Contestant must take control of the stage

  • Hats are okay (as long as your face is visible)

Daywear:

The daywear competition should reflect the personal style of the delegate. The delegate should take this opportunity to choose an outfit that is truly them. The contestant should look to project their personal style, age, and personality on stage. This segment will be very much like a runway show. Platform speech will be given at this time. The daywear competition is worth 50% of the contestant’s total score. ​

EVENING WEAR
CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:
  • Long Gown (Must be floor length - no high-low - no high splits
    ​(conservative splits are allowed in gown - no more than 2-3"above the knee / conservative plunge neckline)
  • Proper fit & style for body type
  • Appropriate Undergarments (shapewear, waist cincher, girdle and.or corset)
  • Hosiery (pantyhose, stockings, tights etc)
  • Graceful, Poised, Elegant
  • Contestant must take control of the stage
  • Contestant must SMILE the entire scene
  • Contestant must make EYE CONTACT with each judge
  • Rhinestones are allowed on with evening wear
NO BLACK OR WHITE INCLUDING STRIPES, POLKA DOTS
RHINESTONES, GLITTER OR SEQUIN ON GARMENTS INCLUDING EARRINGS AND ACCESSORIES ARE ALLOWED

Evening wear:

One word should describe the evening wear competition – Elegance. The evening wear competition is the contestant’s opportunity to show their style, poise, and confidence. Judges will be looking for confidence grace, and poise. ​The evening wear competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.
